Uncover new worlds for your visitors.
NEH on the Road exhibitions engage your audience with ideas, events, arts, and heritage stories from across the country and around the globe.
How do you connect your staff and community to the story of a masked dancer in Bolivia or a basket maker in South Carolina? How do you help them walk in the footsteps of a famous nineteenth-century General?
We'll help show you how.
NEH on the Road exhibitions arrive complete with programming guides that include detailed suggestions for how to supplement the main exhibition with stories, objects, and images from your own community. The guides also give you extensive background information for your staff and docents, along with lists of reference materials and a ready-made family activity guide to help visitors discuss and critique their experience of the humanities, their discovery of themselves.
Explore a world of programming opportunities.
Booking an NEH on the Road exhibition also allows your museum or library to apply for a special $1000 programming grant direct from the NEH. Expand the impact of your project by offering a public lecture, a film discussion series, an interactive workshop, or other events to get your visitors involved and open to new ideas. Collaborate with other area museums and organizations to maximize your connections to the community.
